"Is this essential equipment for home use? No, but it does make life easier the trying to measure sag with a ruler or caliper. For a shop, however, I see this essential. I’ve used this on my families bike. I’ve also been using it to help our local NICA team set up their suspension. My only grip is that the magnets for the rear axle do not fit well in some axles. This isn’t a big deal, as you can just use strap attachment."
"Good for many things. . . I have used this to check suspension sag, chain slack (way easier than a tape measure) and a few other things around the house and garage. "Tore my bike down to rebuild both front forks one was leaking. Let’s get them both. While the bike was torn down, I mounted a set of Bridgestone S 23 on it all at the same time. I don’t have anyone to help me and I wanted to set my suspension up after a lot of changes took place. I was just browsing through Facebook which I rarely do and this ad popped up for the Slacker. I had never heard of it but the more I read the more I said this is for me, especially working alone. The price was very reasonable so I hit the buy button. It came very quickly and I got to work. I changed a little of everything and the bike rides and handles better than it did when it was brand new. It’s a 2014 Honda CB 1000 R. I have told everyone I know that rides to get one. The remote also is a must have for me. Yes I’ve got the remote on my phone, but that little remote is incredible. If you know the math on suspension and where you’re sag and , other settings should be this is a must have! It came so many accessories to get the job done. If you don’t have one and you ride a motorcycle, just get one you’ll never look back."
"I bought this so I can fully dial in my two bikes. After months of no riding because of the harsh winter we had here in the northeast and suffering a really bad crash that left my wrist fractured, and broken ribs, I was excited to try it out. While I was hand tightening the virtual fender to the bike the little flimsy bolt that holds it cracked now I am left with an expensive paperweight. Really disappointed."
"I use this when I'm teaching mountain bike skills lessons with clients to quickly access their suspension set up. It's as fast to set up and use as the o-ring method. I've also found that measuring the o-ring for sag is hard to get repeatable results. Do it 5 times in a row, you'll get 5% spread in numbers. The Slacker allows me to see sag in real time as the rider adjusts their position for-aft or as we move the suspension a little to overcome seal stiction. "I ordered this product because I dont have anyone to help me set sag. Plus I've always set sag and usually left it alone for extended periods of time. Now older & wiser I realize sag numbers change over time with riding, and chain adjustments. This is perfect for those scenarios. Takes out the guess work. Also i can adjust for different types of dirt easily. Im not a fan of the shipping company this company uses (uniuni). As I had trouble with my orders from them before. I emailed the ceo of slacker because my order took a while to get here. He was very communicative and helpful, always responding. Even sent me a free swag box. Which im much appreciate of. Since owning the slacker I have already used it several times. Awesome product! Highly recommend it! It makes you want to check sag for no reason because it makes it fun."
