The Slacker crew is back for Episode 3, Part 3 of Trackside with Slacker, and this time, we made our way to the legendary Glen Helen Raceway—a track known for its deep ruts, big hills, and brutal chop that puts every bike to the test.
This month, we had the pleasure of working with young motocross rider Jaxson Peck and his father Wes, two passionate racers dedicated to dialing in performance and building confidence on the track. They were kind enough to chat with us about their current setup and challenges, and we were pumped to walk them through the ins and outs of the Slacker Digital Sag Scale and help get the suspension dialed in.
As any rider knows, suspension setup isn’t just about comfort—it’s about control, speed, and confidence. After checking out Jaxson’s sag settings, we made a few simple adjustments that had a big impact on how the bike felt. Wes could immediately see the difference as Jaxon's speed in the corners improved. It was awesome to see the difference a small adjustment could make.
Jaxson’s smile said it all—he was feeling the bike more than ever before. His dad Wes echoed the sentiment, mentioning how helpful it was to see the data and have a tool that takes the guesswork out of suspension. We were stoked by their enthusiasm, and to thank them for taking the time to work with us, we surprised Jaxson with his very own Slacker.
